Understanding the Kanban Board
Learn how to use the Kanban board to manage and track orders through your workflow.
The Kanban board is your primary view for managing orders. Each column represents a stage in your workflow, and orders appear as cards that you can drag between stages.
Board Layout
The board shows:
- Columns - Each stage in your selected flow
- Cards - Individual orders showing order number, customer name, and item count
- Badge counts - Number of orders in each stage
Moving Orders
To move an order to a different stage:
- Click and drag the order card
- Drop it into the target column
- The order stage updates automatically
Stage changes are recorded in the order history and can trigger notifications or webhooks.
Selecting a Flow
Use the flow selector dropdown at the top of the board to switch between different workflows. Each flow has its own set of stages.
Searching & Filtering
Find orders quickly using:
- Search - Search by order number or customer name/email
- Platform filter - Show only orders from specific platforms (Shopify, Etsy, etc.)
- Date range - Filter orders by creation date
